Business support

Rural businesses can access a wide range of support through Business Link’s Rural Enterprise Gateway (REG).

In addition to gaining access to the Business Link services that are available to all, Business Link's REG support includes

Information on RDPE programmes
Information on other sources of support and funding
Discussions to help identify business needs and opportunities
Help for businesses to draw up action plans for growth or diversification
Help for businesses in working together for a common aim.
Access to specialist advice and expertise (subsidised through a voucher scheme)
Access to specialist knowledge that can improve farm and rural business performance
Access to help that will guide a business proposal in meeting RDPE criteria
Referral of eligible proposals to a free project development service, which assists businesses to work up and submit their applications for RDPE funding.
