Making it Local funding workshop

On Thursday 22 July between 9.30-11.30am, Local Action Group Making it Local will be holding a fee funding workshop at Kentisbeare Village Hall in Devon. The event will aim to let people know more about Making it Local and its objectives, get advice on the application process and speak to a Business Link advisor.

Bees for Beginners

A complete introduction to bees, giving a comprehensive insight into beekeeping including a hands-on session in the Apiary, will take place at Mumbleys Farmhouse, Sweetwater Lane, Mumbleys, Gloucestershire, BS35 3JY on Saturday 24 July 2010. The course, which is being organised by the Royal Agricultural College at Cirencester, takes place between 9.30am and 4pm and costs £35. RDPE at Dunster Show

On Friday 20 August, officers from the Western Somerset Local Action Group, Business Link, Exmoor Hill Farm Project and Somerset RDPE Project Development Service will be at Dunster Show, near Minehead to answer questions on business development and opportunities for accessing RDPE funding.

Courses at the Rural Business School
